The system provides a centralized solution for managing flash deals, weekly promotions, QR-based redemptions, multi-role staff access, restaurant approvals, analytics, and customer engagement. It helps restaurant businesses replace manual offer management processes with a secure, scalable, and real-time digital platform across both web and mobile applications.

Challenges & solutions

The technical problems our team solved to ship a reliable, unified web experience.

Flutter Web does not support the RevenueCat Flutter SDK, while iOS Safari blocks checkout popups triggered after asynchronous API calls, preventing Stripe checkout and billing portal redirection.

Developed a custom RevenueCat REST API integration with Stripe Edge Functions. Solved Safari popup restrictions by pre-opening browser tabs during the user interaction and redirecting them after receiving the checkout URL, ensuring reliable payments across all browsers.

Supabase RPC responses returned inconsistent payload formats (JSArray vs Map<String, dynamic>), causing runtime type-casting exceptions and crashes across multiple admin tables.

Designed a defensive deserialization layer capable of handling both response structures. Implemented dynamic type detection, standardized API response models, and unified parsing logic, resulting in stable data handling throughout the application.

Business data needed to be grouped into multiple worksheets while converting raw database values into business-friendly Excel reports, all generated entirely on the client side.

Built a reusable Excel export engine capable of generating multi-sheet workbooks with formatted headers, transformed values, and automatic browser downloads, improving reporting efficiency while eliminating server-side export APIs.

Network interruptions caused failed API requests, infinite loading states, and inconsistent user experiences across administrative operations.

Implemented a global connectivity service that continuously monitors internet status, blocks API execution while offline, and automatically retries failed operations once connectivity is restored, preventing data loss and improving user experience.

Flutter Web and Mobile use different file handling mechanisms, while invalid formats and oversized uploads frequently cause storage failures and runtime errors.

Designed a platform-aware image uploader supporting both file and byte-based uploads. Added client-side validation for supported formats and file size limits, ensuring reliable uploads and consistent behavior across platforms.

Restaurant administrators whose accounts had been rejected or deactivated could continue accessing protected dashboards using cached local sessions until manually logging out.

Built a real-time session verification system that refreshes account status during application startup and enforced route-level authentication middleware to immediately revoke access for inactive accounts.

Staff onboarding required creating authentication credentials and linking database records in separate operations, increasing complexity and risking inconsistent user creation.

Developed a transactional onboarding process that automatically generated secure passwords, created authentication accounts, linked staff records, and assigned role-based permissions in a single workflow.

Fixed sidebars and large data tables caused layout overflows, clipped content, and poor usability on smaller screen sizes.

Implemented responsive breakpoint utilities, adaptive navigation, and scrollable data tables, creating a consistent experience across all screen sizes while eliminating layout overflow issues.
